it be that she has a present for her mom and dad?)

A puppy dog.
A St. Bernard puppy dog to be exact, spotted during
a visit to Chamonix. Check out the size of it's paws.

A statue of the
late, great Freddie Mercury on the edge of the lake
in Montreux. The lead singer of Queen was a one time
resident of Montruex, and in fact lived in the very
same building in which I now reside.

The Chateau De
Chillon, from the outside. This castle, which dates
back prior to the 11th Century, is just a short walk
from my apartment.

The Streets of
Music? No, actually this is a traditional Swiss
festival that takes place in villages and towns all
over the country.
During the summer
months the cows graze up in the mountains but as winter
approaches the farmers march their livestock down the
mountain.
The cows are
dressed up with flowers on their heads and in some cases
enormous bells around their necks.
As for the farmers,
they also get dressed up a very traditional outfits.
The gentleman in the middle is the most skilled 'tosser'
I have ever seen - flag tosser that is. He hurls his
flag 50 feet or more into the air and catches it as
it returns to earth, all without batting an eyelid.
Meanwhile, his
friends blow their horns to encourage the flag tosser
to his flag even higher.

Celebrating Adrian's departure.
Adrian is the lunatic lying across Nicholas, Shahn and
Noah on the lounge. I don't know about the rest of them
but I was actually a bit sad to see him leave as he
is not a bad bloke, even for a 'Cane-Toad'.

Malaysian lobster anyone?

Here a few more photographs from
my trip to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I stayed in KL for
9 days including 4 days of work.
The first picture is of me having
an authentic, traditional Malaysian Chinese breakfast.
You can tell it was the real deal because I am the only
'westerner' in the place.
The second and third photgraphs
were taken in the Batu Caves, which are a Hindu temple
just on the outskirts of KL.

These photographs are a collection
from the Marche De Noel (Christmas Markets) in Montreux.
This is a Christmas market fair held over the month
of December.
When I returned from my recent
trip to KL and Syndey I discovered the huge ferris wheel,
which wasn't there when I left.
The market is full of different
stalls selling all manner of little trinkets, clothing,
candles, Chistmas decorations, food and drinks.
There are also some stalls purely for display like the
one with the farm animals where I tookl the photograph
of the sheep with a little baby lamb.
