Welcome, Bienvenue.

Hello everyone from sunny Switzerland. My name is Marc Rouillon (aka Grizzly Bear). I am originally from Sydney, Australia but I am now living and working in Switzerland for about 18 months. I have created this website as way for my family and friends (and anyone else who cares to visit) so they can share a little of my European Adventure.

During my time in Europe I will be based in Montreux, Switzerland, which is situated on the largest lake in Western Europe, Lake Geneva. Montreux is in easterly direction from Geneva (city), about an hour's drive by car.

Montreux's main claim to fame is the Jazz Festival that is held every year in July. It is also a popular tourist destination in the European summer, both with Swiss nationals as well as people from many other countries.
